AT Info’s AUTOPRINT® printing systems feature Hewlett Packard thermal inkjet technology.  Thermal inkjet printers use heat to generate vapor bubbles that are ejected as small drops of ink through the printer’s many nozzles.  The drops are placed on the package surface in a controlled pattern forming alpha-numeric text and images.  Thermal inkjet is inherently fast and precise, easily keeping pace with packaging line speeds while printing messages with up to 600 dpi print resolution.

In-Line Box, Carton and Case Coders

Series 400 Printers

The new Series 400 line of printers includes single head, four-head and eight-head models for every package ID application.

The new single pen model is a cost effective way to print use-by-dates, production codes and ½ inch UPC-A and
EAN-13 barcodes on unit boxes.

The four-head model is a versatile fully functional solution for printing all of the SKU and product identifiers required for shipping cartons including 2-inch  I 2 of 5 barcodes that comply with shipping requirements.

The new eight-head model prints highly visible messages up to 4 inches high and 40 inches long and is ideal for printing on cases and other large packages.

TAILOR THE SYSTEM TO FIT YOUR NEEDS

Series 400 print modules are equipped to operate as independent printers or as interconnected modules in multi-unit systems.  Each print module has connections for a power supply, encoder and product sensor.

Heavy Duty Construction

All Series 400 printers have ROHS compliant electronics that are embedded in stainless steel housings with long sturdy skis that guide cartons past in-line printheads.

Network Ready

An Ethernet connection can be used to link printers on separate production lines to a host PC with Messagemaker® software.  This network provides a single point of control for what is being printed at each production line.  Alternately, an independent Series 400 printer offers local control at each production line.

Series 300 Printers

The Series 300 line includes three-head and six-head models with separate controllers that print messages 1 ½ and 3 inches high up to 28 inches long.

Freedom Printer

The Freedom Printer is a single pen printer that is ideal for printing variable information, including production lot, time and serial codes and use-by-dates on unit boxes and outer shipping cartons and cases. The unit can operate independent of the PC, and once there is text in the buffer, it will be printed each time the leading edge sensor is activated.  Print content can include fixed and variable information that changes on each print.

AUTOPRINT® Flat Box Printing Systems

The AUTOPRINT® flat box printing system, featuring HP inkjet technology, is a high-speed system for printing package identifiers on flat chipboard boxes before they are filled with product.  This unique system identifies generic packages with product name, description, part number, date and lot code, country of origin and corresponding barcodes with minimal setup.  Even logos and product images can be printed on-demand, just-in-time.

Ideal for High Volume Packagers with Many SKUs and Multiplicity of Carton Shapes and Sizes

The AUTOPRINT® Flat Box Printing System increases productive time with quick set up, instant message change and high speed carton handling, printing and inspection. The AUTOPRINT® software manages text and barcode information for every product so the system prints exactly what your customers want.

Together, the TC36 Conveyor and TD36 Dryer increase productivity to complete printing and barcoding jobs quickly and efficiently.

HP Printing Inks

AT Info is a master distributor of HP ink cartridges and bulk ink supplies for use with thermal inket printers. These inks are carefully engineered and tested to work with the paperboard substrates and finishes used for chipboard boxes and corrugated shipping cartons. Our packaging specialists would be pleased to reccommend the fomulation that will work best for your application.

Easy to Set-up and Use

Hewlett Packard's widely acclaimed cartridge printhead is filled with 42cc of ink. The simple snap-in, snap-out cartridges are easy to install and wipe clean. For high production applications, larger bulk ink systems are more efficient. HP inks are water based and non-toxic. The individual cartridges and bulk ink supplies are made of non-hazardous materials. When empty, they are simply removed and discarded.

Colors Add Decorator Appeal

Five standard spot colors, black, red, green, blue and yellow are currenlty available. Cartridge replacement or color changes are as easy as snapping out the cartridge and replacing it with a new one. Custom spot colors can be formulated to match various PMS colors.

AUTOPRINT Ink Delivery System

The AUTOPRINT Ink Management System ( AIMS)

is designed for use on high volume packaging lines.

It automatically dispenses ink from HP bulk ink

cartridges to high speed thermal inkjet printers.

More Ink Capacity

The system dispenses 700 ml of ink from dual bulk ink supplies connected to 3, 4, 6, or 8-head AUTOPRINT printers.  The ergonomic design of the AIMS ink delivery system makes it simple and quick to replenish HP bulk ink supplies.

Greater Up Time

Designed for use on packaging lines, the AIMS system increases production efficiency, up-time and useful life.  The closed loop design and regulated ink flow prevents ink leaks.  The ink delivery system and the HP bulk ink package are robust and require little maintenance.  The large capacity of the two HP bulk ink supplies minimizes operator intervention and the bulk cartridges can be replaced independently on-the-fly.  The system automatically switches from an empty cartridge to the full cartridge; signals that it’s time to put in a new bulk cartridge and allows ample time for replacement.  The system is clean and easy to use.

Increased Profit

The AIMS system reduces the cost of printing each package.  Ink is less expensive to buy in bulk packages; the system utilizes every drop of ink; and long, uninterrupted runs minimize labor time and maximize production output.

AUTOPRINT® printing and ink delivery systems are sustainable green solutions for printing on boxes and shipping cartons.
