Wayne's SF-400 family of Partition Inserters are available in a variety of models to handle partitions in solid fibre or corrugated materials. Servo-controlled insertion heads allow easy adjustments through the Panelview controller and significantly reduces the air consumption needed by the machine. Opener/Inserter models handle multicell dividers and air cells and offer an option to glue-in A-style partitions. Flap Closer/Conditioner

Flap Closing and Conditioning
The missing link between the drop packer and the palletizer, the FCC-30 folds case flaps prior to palletizing or hand-stacking. Wayne’s proprietary technology relaxes the flaps without crushing your products or breaking down the integrity of the cases. Case/Product Inverters

Case Inverters
Wayne's “Soft Touch” Case Inverters gently turn and present cases to the automatic palletizer based on pallet pattern requirements. Models available to handle cases with flaps folded and conditioned closed but not sealed and cases which are sealed before palletizing.

Product Inverters
An ideal solution for packagers whose products need to be inverted in the opposite direction of the manufacturing process, the CI-40 Product Inverter takes products not packed in cases and turns them upside down as required. Items are conveyed into inverter arms that are designed to hold products snuggly as they are turned. Changeover from between product sizes takes a matter of minutes with one-piece, pre-engineered inverter arm change parts.

Case Inspectors

Model LM-1
The LM-1 Case Inspector simplifies the process of identifying defective cases by integrating multiple inspection stations in one reliable machine. This Case Inspector inspects to ensure that (1) all containers are fully seated into the case; (2) senses a “floater” on top and sends rejected case off to the side; and (3) weighs each case and ejects those which do not meet the target weight (indicating a missing containers or missing partition).

Model LM-2 -- High Speed Vision System
The LM-2 Case Inspector runs cases through at 60 cpm. The system, by way of vision, confirms not only the appropriate count of containers, but that each is in its own respective cell. Visual inspection also confirms that the partition is properly opened in the case.
